Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments of patient needs
- Conduct training on safe self-medication of oncology medications
- Provide ongoing support through telephone, clinic-based, and home visits
- Assess home environments for suitability of home IV oncology treatment
- Complete line care and administer IV Oncology medications
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RGN) with NMC registration
- Chemotherapy delivery qualification
- Experience in administering oncology medication in hospital or community settings
- Clinical skills required include cannulation, phlebotomy, and chemotherapy administration
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is £38,480 - £42,640 per annum, plus a car allowance of approximately £4,000 and shift enhancements. Additional benefits include contributory pension scheme, private healthcare cover, death in service, annual holiday entitlement, professional registration paid for, and comprehensive company induction.
