Job Description:

Innotech Partners is collaborating with an established Contractor who specializes in design, installation, and maintenance services for electrical, heating, plumbing, fire, and security systems.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Lead Fire Alarm and Security Systems Installation Engineer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

The standard hours are 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with overtime available if desired.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Installation of fire detection and security alarm systems, including emergency lighting, remote monitoring, intruder alarms, access controls, intercoms, and nurse call systems.
  2. Maintenance and reactive maintenance of fire detection and security alarm systems.
  3. Supporting customers and wider company operations, sales, administration, and operations as required.
  4. Observing and adhering to company Health and Safety guidelines and contributing to a Health and Safety working environment.
Requirements:
  1. Any additional capabilities or basic programming knowledge relating to fire detection and security alarm systems would be advantageous.
  2. Specific product knowledge of manufacturers such as Gent, Advanced Electronics, HAES, Kentec, Gent, Hochiki, Apollo, Vesda, Airsense, Honeywell, Paxton, Control Soft, Videcon, and Hikvision is desired.
  3. A proven ability to troubleshoot, identify, and suggest appropriate courses of action related to issues and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems.
  4. Proven experience working in domestic and commercial environments.
  5. City and Guilds 236 parts 1&2 electrical installation or time-served equivalent would be advantageous.
  6. 17th or 18th Edition Electrical qualification would be desirable but not essential.
  7. Clean, valid driving license.
  8. Adaptable, comfortable problem-solving autonomously, and not having a daily routine.
  9. Respect for health and safety of both themselves, their colleagues, and the customer.
