About This Opportunity:

We are looking for a highly skilled Cost Control Specialist to join our team in North London. As a Cost Control Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing project costs and implementing strategies to control expenses.

Responsibilities:
  1. Project Analysis: Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand project requirements.
  2. Cost Estimation: Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and prepare accurate cost estimates.
  3. Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
  4. Cost Control: Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
  5. Bid Proposal: Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals in a timely manner.
  6. Historical Data: Maintain a database of historical cost data for future reference.
  7. Cost Monitoring: Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide regular reports to management.
  8. Site Visits: Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as required.
Qualifications:
  1. Estimating Experience: Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
  2. Construction Knowledge: Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
  3. Estimating Software: Proficient in using estimating software and tools.
  4. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  5. Multitasking: Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
  6. Communication Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  7. Specialized Knowledge: Cladding, Metal and Flat Roofing experience required.

The estimated salary for this role is £68,750 - £88,750 per annum.
