Are you a skilled Part Time Bookkeeper seeking a new challenge in the Hemel Hempstead area?

About the Role

We're currently recruiting on behalf of an Electrical products wholesaler client, who is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part Time Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts, as well as entering data into accounting software or databases. They will also prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets, cash flow, and profit and loss, track bank account balances, complete VAT returns, verify the accuracy of business accounts, record inconsistencies to help the accountant reconcile inaccuracies, prepare employee wages, and manage employee expense claims.

The shift times are Monday to Friday, with 4 to 5 hours per day, and the working hours can be flexible to accommodate the school run. We're looking for someone who is highly organized, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work independently.
