About the Opportunity

Nova Training is a leading training provider operating in the UK for over 30 years. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team and contribute to the success of our students.

Job Description

In this role, you will work closely with tutors to provide assistance in the classroom and on outdoor activities/trips. You will assist with behavioural difficulties, motivate and inspire students to achieve their best, and contribute to our core vision and values.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Assist in dealing with any behavioural difficulties that may occur
  • Motivate and inspire students to achieve their best
  • Contribute to our core vision and values
  • Work independently and as part of a strong and cohesive team
  • Have strong subject knowledge within English and Maths
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Teaching Assistant in an education setting
  • Relevant qualification/training in Special Education
  • Previous experience of working with learners who have an EHCP would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
