Regulatory Materials Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Materials Compliance Analyst to join our Quality department at Bio Products Laboratory Limited.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to take on this key role within our team.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Inspection and Release of Materials: Inspect and release materials for use in manufacturing in accordance with specifications.
  
• Laboratory Testing: Perform a variety of testing in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, BPL policies, and GMP principles.
  
• Reagents and Standards Preparation: Prepare reagents, standards, and control samples and contribute to general laboratory housekeeping duties.
  
• Reporting and Documentation: Promptly report any deviations, out-of-specification / limits results. Assist with investigations as required.
  
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment used is clean, calibrated, and maintained. Perform system suitability checks where required.
  
• Collaboration and Communication: Operate effectively within a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and management.
  
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives and participate in audit activities.
  

Requirements

• 
  
• A degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, biology, biochemistry).
  
• Proven experience working in a laboratory environment, with a strong understanding of laboratory operations and practical work.
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  
• Computer literacy, including intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure high levels of quality are achieved.
