  • Lead in-depth reviews of credit and underwriting processes to ensure effective risk management.
  • Represent business control in working groups for regulatory and internal remediations, driving collaborative solutions.
  • Proactively manage relationships with stakeholders, including Function heads and Business Heads, to foster open communication and trust.
  • Utilize strong communication and leadership skills to influence senior internal and external audiences, providing valuable insights and input through active interactions and committee participation.
  • Provide credible challenge to Business Heads regarding standards and process quality, identifying and escalating weaknesses as necessary.
  • Ensure end-to-end Wholesale Credit Risk within the bank is effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.
  • Assess the control environment and its ability to mitigate risk, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of a "best-in-class" function through continuous improvement ideas and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of wholesale credit lending and processes.
  • Experience in a top bank from credit risk, credit audit, credit assurance, risk & control, or governance.
  • Leadership experience, with a proven track record of driving results and improving processes.
