We are seeking a highly skilled ILS Engineer to join our team at JAM Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical supportability and logistics support analysis expertise to our clients in the Aerospace & Defence sector.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of supportability frameworks, plans, processes, and engineering approaches for complex programmes.
- Develop and maintain Logistics Support Analysis Records and toolsets in digital and collaborative international environments.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) representing the Supportability Engineering team at technical reviews, integration activities, and planning events.
- Provide technical supportability and LSA engineering guidance, advice, mentoring, and support to junior or less experienced supportability engineers.
- Influence the design and future sustainment of platforms and systems to ensure they are inherently supportable in their intended use.
- Degree qualified in a relevant engineering field or demonstrable professional experience working in a relevant engineering role.
- Detailed knowledge of the principles of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Testability.
- Experience in applying supportability engineering tools, techniques, and approaches on complex programmes, including Logistics Support Analysis, Maintenance Task Analysis, Level of Repair Analysis, Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis, and Reliability Centered Maintenance.
- Knowledge and experience in applying international and/or military standards and specifications relevant to supportability engineering.
- Good IT skills, including MS Office and experience working with digital engineering tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 to £45,000, an excellent benefits package, and a hybrid-working role of 3 days per week onsite.
