Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Havering

A large all-through school in Havering is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to build their experience and contribute to the development of students in a welcoming and dynamic school environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work 1:1 and with small groups, supporting academic and personal development.
  • Lead subject-specific interventions, boosting engagement and progress.
  • Assist children inside and outside the classroom, providing tailored support for students with special educational needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies to support student engagement and growth.

Requirements:
  • A degree in Education or a related field from a leading UK university.
  • Experience working with children, although not essential.
  • Confidence in managing behaviour and working with students with SEND.
  • A positive attitude towards helping students achieve their potential.
