Quantity Surveyor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at a water engineering company in Bedford. As a key member of the projects team, you will work closely with Commercial Manager and Project Managers to manage project costs and value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procure and administer sub-contract packages with support from the Commercial/Contracts Manager and Project Managers.
  • Maintain project forecasts and measurement records for sub-contract works.
  • Assist Project Managers with cost and value reporting, and work with the project team to manage contract requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Manager and Finance Manager to manage cashflow and reporting.
  • Monitor project performance against budget and report variances to the Project Managers and Commercial Manager.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years' experience in a contractor's organisation.
  • Knowledge of NEC 3 & 4 contract conditions.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Ability to demonstrate a flexible approach to work.
Desired Qualifications:
  • A qualification in Quantity Surveying such as a BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
