Project Planner

**About the Role**

Syntech Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Project Planner to support a significant design-development and industrialisation programme. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for planning and monitoring project progress through its lifecycle.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Plan and monitor project progress through the lifecycle
* Assist in the detailed scheduling of equipment, materials, and labour, considering schedule needs versus resource availability
* Use creative planning to ensure project deadlines are met
* Identify and manage the project critical path, including risk management and the identification of problem areas
* Analyse schedule progress and performance
* Coordinate workstream resource usage reviews

**Requirements**

* Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification and/or experience
* Currently delivering projects in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
* Excellent communication skills and confident in presenting and reporting
* Confident in leading team meetings, both in person and on-line
* Advanced use of MS Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint
* Experience in automotive and/or marine engineering (Beneficial)
