We are seeking a qualified social worker to join our Adult Mental Health Team in Stockport.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years+ UK post-qualifying social work experience and be registered with the HCPC.
The team works collaboratively to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Must be an Approved Mental Health Professional under the Mental Health Act.
- Experience of covering duty, multi-disciplinary work, and good knowledge of mental health problems/symptoms/treatments.
- Direct work with service users who suffer from mental health illnesses.
- Carry out Mental Health Act assessments in the borough and on occasions outside of the borough.
- Secondary Care/Community Care and Discharges.
The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent and have a current CRB.
