Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Professional

Zachary Daniels Recruitment is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Professional to join their client, a leading FMCG manufacturing organisation with an impressive history and a fantastic reputation. Located on the outskirts of Edinburgh, this role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a mechanical/electrical team to achieve common goals.
  • Assist with machine improvement projects to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Apply first-level maintenance activities to all onsite assets to prevent downtime and reduce costs.
  • Perform large plant complex repairs to maintain the integrity of the facility.
  • Fault find, repair, and maintain equipment to minimise production disruptions.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines in a workshop team to share knowledge and expertise.
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds or similar vocational qualifications.
  • Relevant experience in a production/processing or manufacturing facility.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

This is a Monday-Friday dayshift position offering a stable and secure work environment.
