Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Horticulture Technician to join our team at Sparsholt. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for contributing to the upkeep of our college grounds, working closely with teaching staff to provide technical instruction and supervision to students training in horticulture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of the college grounds across both sites
  • Work closely with teaching staff to provide practical support, technical instruction, and supervision to students training in horticulture
  • Provide technical expertise in machinery and plant maintenance and establishment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the grounds maintenance team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification in horticulture or a related field
  • A good practical working knowledge of horticulture and a sound understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
