Furniture Design Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Design Assistant to join our team in a busy fitted furniture showroom in Chelsea, South West London. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our designers with creating room and furniture plans for client presentations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist designers with drawing room and furniture plans for client presentations
  • Liaise with clients to arrange appointments for designers
  • Deal with email enquiries and liaise with head office to place furniture orders and arrange deliveries
  • Work with room plans to create technical drawings for client projects
  • Previous experience of using CAD would be highly beneficial
Requirements:
  • Good ability to deal with numbers and measurements
  • Previous experience in a similar capacity or recent graduate with a relevant degree
  • Ability to work on Saturdays and 5 days per week
What We Offer:
  • Opportunity to progress into a Designer role in the longer term
  • 5 days per week, including Saturdays, with Sundays and one other day off per week
  • Hours: 9.30am - 6pm
