As a Specialist Teacher and Education Lead, you will be instrumental in shaping the educational landscape for children and young people with sensory impairments in Buckinghamshire. Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, our region offers an ideal blend of tranquility and accessibility.

Buckinghamshire Council is a pioneering organization that brings together the strengths of five previous councils to drive positive change. We are committed to providing inclusive and lifelong learning opportunities for all our young people, ensuring they reach their full potential.

Your key responsibilities will include managing a team of specialist teachers to deliver effective SEND statutory services. You will comply with statutory regulations in assessing and reviewing Education, Health & Care Plans (EHC Plans) in accordance with the Children & Families Act 2014. Additionally, you will provide professional expertise and support to Senior iSEND Leaders and direction to the team of Specialist Teachers.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
