Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Security Specialist to join our Mission Security UK Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our personnel clearance program and secure facilities and systems, ensuring compliance with security policies, regulations, and processes within complex organizations.

This role requires strong knowledge of government and industrial security procedures, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in cybersecurity, data protection, or a related field, and be familiar with MOD requirements and security protocols.

The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders to plan for the future and ensure that Palantir's impact and productivity in the UK Government space is maximized. This includes providing outstanding knowledge and customer service to Palantirians who depend on them to help drive business forward.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and maintaining a security culture in line with MOD requirements
  • Establishing and maintaining all security procedures and operations
  • Taking ownership and control of the asset register
  • Monitoring changes to facility/company and updating security policies accordingly
  • Carrying out toolbox talks and training for staff on security policies
  • Holding authority for control of all security and associated accreditations, compliances, and activity across the UK Government business
