Maintenance Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a growing SME Manufacturer. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform proactive and reactive maintenance routines on production equipment and facilities.
- Provide electrical and mechanical support and knowledge on all lines within the plant.
- Equipment testing, fault finding, and repair.
- PLC fault finding and repair using Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
- Develop and implement effective planned preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other plant engineers and team leaders to achieve machine maintenance hours on planned work.
- Ensure a Total Quality Approach is implemented across the site.
Requirements:
- Time served and qualified in an Electrical/Mechanical field.
- Good knowledge of PLC fault finding through I/O's and Laptop Diagnostics.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Multiskilled Technician.
- Experience in Food/Drink or Packaging is advantageous.
What We Offer:
