\East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust is seeking an exceptional Medical Consultant to join our clinical team. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to lead the management of patients in a 24-bedded general medical ward, focusing on acute medicine and complex presentations.
Main Responsibilities
\- Deliver high-quality patient care, working closely with colleagues to ensure excellent outcomes.
- Provide leadership in complex MDT discussions, making informed decisions on patient care.
- Contribute to the Physician of the Day rota, ensuring seamless coverage of unselected medical take.
Requirements
\To be successful in this role, you will need:
\- Broad experience in acute and general medicine, including managing acute medical takes and inpatients.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to engage staff and improve practice.
- Up-to-date knowledge of clinical governance, appraisal, and revalidation processes.
