Job Overview

A challenging and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a skilled social worker to join our team at Sanctuary Personnel Ltd. This is a full-time position, based in Wandsworth, working with the Kinship Team.

The ideal candidate will have experience within Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England. A full driver's licence and use of a vehicle are also essential for this role.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with families and carers who require support with fostering and kinship care. As a social worker, you will be responsible for undertaking social work tasks for family link and Reg 24/Connected Persons foster carers and Special Guardians. You will also collaborate with colleagues in social work teams, partner agencies, and external agencies to ensure seamless service delivery.

Some of your key responsibilities will include coordinating statutory checks for potential foster carers and their household members, promoting foster carers' continuous development, and monitoring their safer care practice. You will also establish and develop collaborative working with allied health and social care practitioners to achieve best outcomes for children and young people.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree or equivalent in Social Work, current registration with Social Work England, and experience within Children's Services. A full driver's licence and use of a vehicle are also required. We are looking for a motivated and organised individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including opportunities for professional development and career progression.
