Packing Operative Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and physically active individual to join our team as a Packing Operative. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for packing boxes and ensuring a smooth supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Packing boxes and taping them closed for both ambient and fridge locations
  • Ensuring a supply of boxes is available and transporting them from the warehouse
  • Using a pump truck to transport deliveries to the loading area

Working Environment:

This is a light lifting role that requires you to be comfortable being physically active during your shift. You will be working in a medium-sized pharmacy team, not a community pharmacy, so you will not interact with customers.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to stand for long periods, be mobile, and not sit at a desk. You will also need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and following instructions.
