About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join our Responsive Repairs team in Ipswich.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from carrying out repairs to installing new kitchens and bathrooms.

We value our customers and strive to provide excellent customer service, which is why we are looking for someone who is able to communicate effectively and resolve any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:

As a Multi-Trade Operative, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications
  • Ensuring that all tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and restocked when needed
  • Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery, by resolving problems or setting in motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
Requirements:
  • To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (plumbing, carpentry, electrical) NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing if plumbing is core or currently undertaking the qualification
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation
  • Skills in some of the following disciplines – carpentry, plumbing, decorating
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
