About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at BakerHicks. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering civil engineering projects, working closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and specify all aspects of civil works, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Conduct site surveys and construction stage duties, ensuring progress against the project brief.
  • Liaise with clients and members of the design and construction teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to promote the company's services and reputation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and developments, applying this knowledge to improve project delivery and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a strong academic record.
  • Proven experience in surface and foul drainage designs and strategies, ground modeling, and pavement setting out and design.
  • Knowledge of coordinating below-ground drainage services and experience working in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to obtain security clearance and adapt to changing project requirements.
