About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Human Resources Administration team as an HR Support Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR processes and procedures, working on a range of tasks from transactional to complex.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle day-to-day queries and provide HR advice to employees and managers
  • Work on HR processes, including recruitment, employee onboarding, and benefits administration
  • Use HR systems to maintain accurate and timely information for team members working on key projects and programs
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations, and update the Service Webpages, Centranet, and SharePoint sites
  • Act as a responsive and helpful point of contact for enquiries and queries to the team and across the wider authority
About You

We are looking for an individual who is computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft applications and good basic keyboard skills. A person who can collate accurate work and applies attention to detail. We need a person with good communication skills, both verbal and written, who can take direction, has an enthusiasm to learn, and a genuine willingness to help others. Reliability and flexibility are key to this role.
