About the Nursery Assistant Role:

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join one of our nurseries in Winchester. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and personal growth journeys.
  • Work with children aged 4 months to 4 years, engaging, inspiring, and supporting their development.
  • Track, document, and communicate students' advancements and achievements.
  • Foster a stimulating and enjoyable atmosphere that promotes active participation and learning.
  • Create detailed and personalized lesson plans covering various subjects, tailored to meet individual student requirements and in accordance with the National Curriculum standards.

Requirements:

  • Open to both qualified and unqualified Nursery Practitioners, whether you're already qualified up to Level 2/3 or aspiring to kickstart your career.
  • Passionate about working with children, with a genuine love for their well-being and development.
  • Excellent Communication Skills, building strong relationships with parents/carers and collaborating effectively with our team.
  • Reliable and Punctual, demonstrating your commitment to excellence through reliability and punctuality.
  • Level 3 Childcare Qualification (preferred but not required), with opportunities for growth and development.
