About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our Intellectual Property and Technology group in London. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in advising clients on patent litigation matters, including UK litigation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR), as well as providing related advisory work such as freedom-to-operate (FTO) analysis, patentability, and trade secrets advice.

The ideal candidate will have experience in multi-jurisdictional patent litigation, strong technical expertise in the Technology sector and/or Life Sciences sector, and excellent interpersonal skills. You will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the technical issues that are key to our clients and a commercially focused approach. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of innovation-related work, including patent and trade secret disputes, non-contentious advisory, and patent and trade secret transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on patent litigation matters, including UK litigation and ADR
  • Provide related advisory work such as FTO analysis, patentability, and trade secrets advice
  • Work on patent and trade secret disputes, non-contentious advisory, and patent and trade secret transactions
  • Take an active role in the management and development of client relationships
  • Supervise and train more junior team members
