Your Role

:

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety-Critical Software Developer to join our team at Oxa Autonomy. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for developing and validating high-integrity software components that meet the stringent safety requirements of our autonomous vehicle systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and validating software components that meet ISO26262 safety standards
  • Designing and developing software diagnostic features to monitor sensor health and performance
  • Maintaining and updating sensor drivers for low-power embedded devices
  • Producing high-quality C++ code and contributing to peer coding reviews
  • Designing low-level software components in C++ and C
  • Supporting team members to improve sensor development quality
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide tools for vehicle commissioning, calibration, and synchronisation

Requirements

What you need to succeed:

  • Recent experience in developing high-integrity software
  • Knowledge of ISO26262 process, system engineering, software development, and validation
  • Strong C++/C programming skills
  • A first-class understanding of how to develop and debug performant C++/C software
  • Experience with time synchronisation and calibration in robotics applications
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with multiple stakeholders

Extra kudos if you have:

  • Experience in software development for embedded devices
  • Able to optimise C++/C code for low-powered devices
  • Knowledge of Automotive Basic Software development
