We are currently seeking an experienced Diagnostics Specialist to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services in a dynamic Diagnostic Microbiology Service.
About the RoleAs a Diagnostics Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and experiments to identify and diagnose microbial infections. You will analyze and interpret laboratory results to inform clinical decisions and collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, with opportunities for career progression and professional development.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct laboratory tests and experiments to identify and diagnose microbial infections
- Analyze and interpret laboratory results to inform clinical decisions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related field
- IBMS Accredited degree or Degree + Top-ups completed
- HCPC accredited
