About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our team at GS2 Partnership. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical and practical elements of remediation or site investigation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing Phase 1 Desktop Studies, Phase 2 Interpretative Ground Investigation Reports, Remediation Strategies, MMP's, Verification Reports and Environmental Permit Applications
  • Management and supervision of ground investigations including trial pit and borehole soil sampling and logging to BS5930:2015, groundwater and gas monitoring
  • Geo-Environmental Engineering on live Remediation and Enabling Works Projects including collection of validation evidence, chemical and geotechnical compliance sampling and testing, material and waste audits, environmental monitoring, sustainability assessments and progress reporting
  • Undertake site environmental monitoring in accordance with Sanctus's Mobile Plant Environmental Permit or an Environmental Monitoring Plan. Compare to site targets where available and report
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant degree and/or 2+ years experience in the UK ground investigation or contaminated land sectors
  • Appetite to learn and a strong work ethic
  • Prepared to travel and work nationwide
  • Confident and professional demeanour
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
