Mental Health Specialist

The Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Mental Health Specialist to join their team. This role involves providing high-quality, specialist psychology provision to individuals with learning disabilities and complex mental health needs in the Dudley locality.
As a Mental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for offering advice, psychological assessments, and interventions to clients and their support networks. You will also work closely with colleagues, external agencies, and non-professional carers to ensure comprehensive care.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with learning disability populations, assessment, formulation, and intervention skills, as well as knowledge of evidenced-based therapeutic interventions. A postgraduate training or equivalent experience would be desirable.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to person-centred care principles and recovery models. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for professional development.
