Job Title: Child Disability Specialist

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child Disability Specialist to join our team at Protocol Education Ltd. As a Child Disability Specialist, you will work closely with SEN schools in Cheam to provide support to pupils with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to pupils with speech and language difficulties or behavioral issues
  • Work with pupils using Makaton, PECS - Picture Exchange Communication System, and other relevant strategies
  • Support pupils with autism and other special educational needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and training in special educational needs
  • Experience working with pupils with special educational needs
  • Knowledge of Makaton, PECS, and other relevant strategies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
