Child Development Specialist

As a Child Development Specialist, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that fosters the emotional, social, and educational growth of young children. Your role involves working collaboratively with other staff members to maintain high standards of care and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend team meetings to contribute your ideas on improving care and education
- Provide all aspects of care for children, including washing, changing, and feeding, under supervision
- Assist in meeting the personal and emotional needs of individual children, providing them with adult interaction and support
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the trust placed in us by families
- Collaborate with other staff to create a positive and productive team environment
- Participate in out-of-hours activities such as training sessions, staff meetings, and special events
Training and Development:
You will receive training in accordance with the Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard, which includes obtaining a paediatric first aid qualification. Training sessions will take place at home, the workplace, or the Twickenham Training Centre, equivalent to one day per week (6 hours).
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on location and employer, plus benefits.
