We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our team at Grandir UK. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing professional leadership to all staff members and maintaining the highest standards of care and education within our baby room.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in early years education and a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and education to young children. You will be responsible for promoting high standards of quality within the nursery, supporting and supervising our baby room staff with their day-to-day duties, and ensuring the effective implementation of the nursery's keycarer procedures.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and providing professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child. Additionally, you will promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers, develop open and positive working relationships with staff, and ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
  • Support and supervise our baby room staff with their day-to-day duties
  • Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
  • Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
  • Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
  • Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
  • Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
