Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with families, understanding their needs, and ensuring a strengths-based approach to working with children and families. You will also travel efficiently throughout the course of your job, register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC), and complete the required Post Registration Training and Learning.

Responsibilities:
  1. Engagement: Engage with families and understand their needs.
  2. Travel: Travel efficiently throughout the course of your job.
  3. Registration: Register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and complete the required training.
  4. Assessment: Apply knowledge and skills in a statutory childcare setting, sound understanding of child development, theories, legislation, and policy, and be confident in using these in assessments.
Requirements:
  • Qualification: Social work qualification at degree or postgraduate level.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge and skills in a statutory childcare setting.
  • Understanding: Sound understanding of child development, theories, legislation, and policy.
Salary:

£25,000 - £35,000 per year
