We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to lead and deliver a specialist clinical pharmacy service to patients, medical and nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in accordance with legal and professional standards.
The successful candidate will provide a ward-based medicines management service, participate in multidisciplinary teams in specialist clinical areas, and act as a Directorate Pharmacist, providing expert pharmaceutical advice and reports on medicines expenditure.
Key responsibilities include providing professional and clinical cover for the dispensary services, deputising and supporting the Pharmacy Manager, and providing training and education to all pharmacy staff.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Pharmacy, postgraduate clinical specialist knowledge, and experience of providing ward/clinical pharmacy services in a hospital setting.
They will also be a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council, an accredited tutor for Clinical Pharmacy Diploma, and an independent prescriber.
