Project Manager/Employer's Agent

Construction Professionals Recruitment is seeking a dynamic Project Manager/Employer's Agent to play a pivotal role in guiding projects from inception to completion. This position offers the opportunity to work within our London team on Essex-focused projects that are vital to shaping the region's future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise closely with Clients, Contractors, Developers, Clerk of Works, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Advise clients on procurement routes and general contract advice to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Understand key deliverables within your contract to ensure the Client receives the necessary information.
  • Report monthly to the team leader on fee projections and anticipated income vs project programme.
General Duties
  • Comply with, or improve upon, Key Performance Indicators to drive project success.
  • Work with and develop a Quality Management system to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
  • Report on a regular basis on the status of projects and update Fee Projections.
Pre-Contract Procedures and Administration
  • Assist with/organise all pre-contract investigations, scoping surveys, and other due diligence issues required by Clients, including sustainability issues.
  • Assist in the production of the Project Execution Plan.
  • Chair and minute pre-contract meetings; immediately issue minutes to all relevant parties.
  • Project manage where applicable other consultants on behalf of the client.
  • Prepare Employer's Requirements, Performance Specifications, etc.
