Computational Imaging Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer/Scientist to join our Computational Imaging team at Apple Inc.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing innovative algorithms for mobile devices to enhance photography experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer vision and machine learning, with experience in productizing research results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing commercially viable algorithms for image processing.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new features into products.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in computer vision and machine learning.

Requirements

  • Extensive research experience in image processing.
  • Possess understanding and experience in productizing research results in fields like image registration, alpha matting, Bayesian statistics, and deep learning.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming (C++ or Objective C) and skills in OpenGL/OpenCL/Metal.
  • MacOS or iOS development experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Ability to work hands-on in multi-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
