About the Role
Southern Water is seeking a highly skilled Risk and Value Specialist to join our team of professionals who are dedicated to ensuring the company's governance and assurance frameworks are upheld, optimizing investment decisions, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Risk and Value sessions, ensuring structured discussions, balanced outcomes, and adherence to process.
- Provide second-line governance and assurance to the Risk and Value process.
- Develop and implement innovative methodologies and tools for Risk and Value and Asset Lifecycle Processes.
- Develop and deliver training to enhance team capabilities and self-sufficiency in the ALP process.
- Develop KPIs, track performance, and report on R&V and ALP processes.
Work Environment
The successful candidate will spend approximately 40% of their time facilitating R&V sessions, with the remaining time dedicated to governance and assurance, continuous improvement, training and coaching, and performance reporting.
Requirements
- Ability to facilitate structured discussions without bias, ask effective questions, and challenge the group.
