Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team of professionals in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our teaching staff in delivering high-quality education to our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver interventions across Key Stages 1 and 2, supporting Maths, English, and Phonics.
  • Support teachers by delivering pre-planned lessons within all year groups, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to expand your knowledge and experience.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement effective educational strategies.
  • Provide individualized support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience supporting children with SEND.
  • Good knowledge of the educational curriculum.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High expectations of pupils through motivation, encouragement, and confidence.
