Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement embedded software solutions, including peripheral drivers, protocols, and human-machine interfaces, with a focus on quality and reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, define system architecture, and develop software solutions that meet customer needs.

Develop and maintain software architecture designs using UML or other recognized model-based design techniques, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

Work with customers to understand technical issues, define processes, and make strategic technical decisions within your area of expertise.

Requirements:

Proven experience in software development, with a strong understanding of C/C++ and embedded systems.

Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering field, such as electronics, software engineering, physics, or mathematics.

Excellent software engineering skills, with experience in software architecture design, development, and testing.

Knowledge of real-time operating systems, such as Wind River's VxWorks or Integrity, and experience with TCP/IP networking and socket programming.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git or Subversion.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with software modeling tools like Simulink or SCADE, and scripting languages like MATLAB or Python.

Knowledge of DO178C standards and experience with software verification and validation.

Familiarity with Linux or Windows application development and experience with configuration management tools.
