Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join our team at a school in Haringey. As a Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons to students, maintaining a well-organized classroom, and collaborating with fellow staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Delivery: Demonstrate a robust grasp of the KS2 curriculum and deliver captivating lessons that cater to the needs of students.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a highly organized classroom, ensuring the secure management and storage of all educational materials.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with fellow staff members within the school to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Exhibit proficiency in assessing students, monitoring their progress, and providing valuable feedback to support their growth.
  • Policies and Procedures: Diligently adhere to the school's policies and consistently implement them to ensure a smooth and efficient learning process.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Bring recent experience as a Year 5 Teacher from mainstream primary school settings.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with support staff and parents.
  • Desirable: SEND experience is desirable.
