About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at Artisan Group Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality commercial gas works, including installations, gas safety inspections, fault finding, and plumbing works across central England, North-West, and Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and Maintain Gas-Fired Systems: Install and maintain gas-fired heating, hot water appliances, and unvented hot water systems to the highest standards.
  • Fault Diagnostics and Plumbing Work: Conduct thorough fault diagnostics and general plumbing work, including sanitary installations, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Project Support: Assist our M+E contract manager with maintenance, refurbishment projects, and pre-construction activities to ensure timely completion.
  • Site Health and Safety: Supervise site health & safety, operatives, and supply chain to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Project Management: Manage quotations, site meetings, progress reports, and project handovers to ensure smooth project delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Commercial Gas Qualifications: Hold COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, and TPCP1a certifications.
  • Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems Certificate: Possess a valid G3 certificate.
  • Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) Certificate: Hold a valid WRAS certificate.
  • Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing and Heating: Possess a Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing and Heating.
  • Pipefitting Experience: Have experience with screwed, press fit, and soldered pipework.
