Salary: £95-£100 per day

Contract Type: Full-Time, long-term/temp-perm

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to a student with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom and during other school activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support to a student with SEN in the classroom and during other school activities.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt learning materials to meet the student's needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the student's progress and well-being.
  • Monitor and record the student's progress and provide regular feedback to the SENCO and class teacher.
  • Support the student with personal care tasks, if required.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
