Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading food manufacturing company, in their search for a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work in their state-of-the-art facility.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing faults, testing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with experience in the FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose faults and test, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Use PMS to support prioritization and problem-solving (RCFA)
  • Contact OEMs and other suppliers for technical support as needed
  • Analyze trends in reoccurring faults and breakdowns and reduce downtime of current equipment
  • Develop and record all engineering activities using the Electronic Maintenance Management System
  • Ensure all functions are carried out in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard
Requirements:
  • Recognized Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship - ESSENTIAL
  • Experience within the FMCG industry - ESSENTIAL
  • Must be multi-skilled - ESSENTIAL
  • Food/FMCG background - DESIRABLE
  • OSHH/Nebosh - DESIRABLE
