A rewarding opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive school in North Liverpool. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to provide high-quality support in the classroom and beyond.

This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young learners, working closely with teachers to plan and deliver tailored learning activities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading small group sessions and interventions, covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher, and providing 1:1 support to students with additional needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the delivery of lessons by working closely with teachers to plan and deliver tailored learning activities.
  • Leading small group sessions and interventions to boost student progress and academic achievement.
  • Covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Providing 1:1 support to students with additional needs, fostering their academic and personal development.
  • Assisting with resource preparation and creating an engaging classroom environment.
  • Promoting a safe and inclusive atmosphere, supporting the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Level 4 HLTA qualification or equivalent experience, demonstrating your expertise in teaching and learning strategies.
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum, enabling you to support lesson planning and delivery.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting, ideally supporting children with diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, ensuring effective teamwork and collaboration.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, reflecting our school's values and ethos.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £83-£100 per day, depending on experience. In addition, you will have access to opportunities for professional development and career progression within our supportive school community.
