Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Linguistics Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a supportive and vibrant primary school community in Esher. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for language development and literacy skills, and will be able to work effectively with children to help them achieve their full potential.

About the Position: As a Linguistics Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing targeted support to students in their language development and literacy skills, as well as working closely with teachers to deliver lessons and provide tailored interventions for students who need extra help.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering 1:1 and small group sessions to support students with phonics, reading, writing, and comprehension
  • Developing and implementing strategies to support students with speech and language skills
  • Working with teachers to deliver lessons and provide tailored interventions for students who need extra help
  • Monitoring and reporting on student progress, ensuring that learning needs are met
  • Building relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment

What We Offer: We offer a competitive salary of £480 - £550 per week (Term-time only), as well as opportunities for professional development and potential for career progression in education.
