Job Summary

As a Senior Accountant/Accountant at Bespoke Recruitment Solutions Ltd, you will have the opportunity to manage a portfolio of SME and personal tax clients, providing tailored advice and support. Your role will allow you to build strong client relationships and make a real difference by identifying tax-saving opportunities and improving financial efficiency.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of UK GAAP and tax legislation. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns, as well as overseeing bookkeeping and payroll processes. To excel in this role, you should be part or fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, ATT, or similar) with proven experience of working in a UK practice accounting environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a portfolio of SME and personal tax clients, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of accounting and tax services.
* Prepare and review statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns in compliance with UK GAAP.
* Oversee bookkeeping and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

* Part or fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, ATT, or similar).
* Proven experience of working in a UK practice accounting environment.
* Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and tax legislation.
* Proficiency with accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and BrightPay.
