We are seeking a highly skilled Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team at Stoneacre Toyota. As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the servicing, repair, and diagnostics of our customers' vehicles to an exemplary standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilising your expanding knowledge of Toyota vehicles and features, you will be responsible for the servicing, repair, and diagnostics of our customers' vehicles.
  • You will be carrying out work on a diverse range of Toyota vehicles, whilst taking great pride in your work and taking complete ownership of your customers, and completing your jobs to the highest standard.
  • Working as part of a capable and motivated team, you will complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
  • You will accurately and skilfully complete and provide diagnostic reports on our customers' vehicles.
  • In accordance with manufacturer, warranty, and dealer requirements, you will complete relevant service documentation, including job sheets, PDIs, and service reports.
  • Upon the completion of jobs, through the use of diagnostic equipment and road testing, you will check the level and quality of work that has been carried out.

About You

  • We consider candidates from all backgrounds who have experience working in the Automotive sector within a technical role.
  • As a minimum, you will be qualified to Level 2 NVQ, or equivalent, in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • You will have fantastic communication skills and thrive working in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
  • You will have the ability to work well under pressure - It will be your technical ability that will help you overcome any challenge that is thrown your way.
  • An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • MOT Licence would also be beneficial but not essential.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
