Job Summary

Capita is seeking an experienced and confident Senior Software Developer to join our team on a permanent basis. We are looking for someone with significant experience in MS Dynamics 365 CRM & Power Platform as well as Azure Services.

About the Role

As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing new and updated software programs. You will ensure all deliverables are completed on time and to the agreed specification. The successful candidate will be able to provide support to the team as well as training, mentoring, and guiding junior colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write codes and debug software applications
  • Perform unit tests, document changes, and refactor less complexed programs/scripts
  • Apply agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result
  • Monitor and report on progress
  • Think out-of-box, suggest innovative and practical solutions to resolve issues based on their experience
  • Configure and manage software development infrastructure
  • Define software modules needed for an integration build
  • Produce build definitions for each generation of the software
  • Accept completed software modules, ensuring they meet defined criteria
  • Produce software builds from software source code for loading onto target hardware
  • Configure hardware and software environments as required by the system being integrated
  • Produce integration test specifications, conduct tests, and record and report on outcomes
  • Diagnose faults and record and report on the results of tests
  • Produce system integration reports
  • Collaborate in reviews of work with others
  • Complete work with minimal supervision and utilize good technical competencies to solve problems/tasks independently

  • Extensive experience as a Software Developer
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Platform, and Azure experience
