**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Marine Electronic Engineer to join our team at Boskalis. As a Marine Electronic Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems on vessels.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Installation of equipment on vessels, and integration with other systems.
  • Liaison with internal and external suppliers and contractors.
  • Follow maintenance schedules and field-based fault finding and board level diagnosis.
  • Preparation, testing, and packing of equipment prior to dispatch to vessels.
  • Provide remote support to vessels with technical issues, potentially out-of-hours and at weekends.

**Requirements**

  • HNC or equivalent qualification/experience relevant to electronics or electrical engineering.
  • Knowledge of installing Marine Electronics equipment such as VHF, HF, AIS, Radar, telemetry, computer systems, GPS etc.
  • High degree of computer/IT literacy.
  • Previous experience of working within the oil and gas industry.

**What We Offer**

You will receive an annual holiday entitlement of 22 days (based on a full-time contract) which increases over time, a salary sacrifice pension scheme, access to private healthcare through Bupa as well as cycle to work and eye test schemes. The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience. You will have opportunities for career growth and development within our company.
